This certification course in General Business Development is designed to assist the student in understanding the principles of general business development and operations. The program of study includes how to startup a business, legal requirements, ethics, writing a business plan, strategic planning, hiring, employee legal and tax forms, raising capital, business terminology, leasing locations, general business practices and operations, marketing, website development and e-commerce, and how to sell a business.
